Lernie's Bio I am a Henna Body Artist based in Orange County, CA. I discovered the art of Mehndi (the process in which henna is applied for body art) in 1999 when I received my first Henna "Tattoo" at a local outdoor mall. I loved it so much that I went back for a second one. The next thing I knew, I was hooked! I had to find out more about Mehndi. It became my quest to learn as much as I could about this beautiful art form. After much research in books and on the internet plus finding a great henna supplier (LifeArt), I began doing henna on myself. After much practice, I got better with my technique. |
Friends began to ask me for henna. That snowballed into a local restaurant inviting me to do henna for customers. Soon I was asked to do parties. The next thing I knew, I was booking events for baby showers, parties, corporate events, TV shows...and much more! |
